General Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Rumble Boxing?
Rumble Boxing is a group fitness concept that combines boxing-inspired training on water-filled aqua bags with strength and conditioning exercises on the floor. Each class is 45 minutes long and follows a 10-round format. There is no sparring and no contact — just you, the bag, and an energizing group workout led by an expert trainer.
Is Rumble Boxing the same as a traditional boxing gym?
No. Rumble Boxing is a boxing-inspired fitness class, not a traditional boxing gym. You will not spar, fight, or make contact with anyone. Instead, you throw punches at an aqua bag as part of a structured group fitness class. Think of it as using boxing as a vehicle for an incredible cardio and strength workout.

Class-Related Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a Rumble Boxing class?
Every Rumble class is 45 minutes. The class consists of 10 rounds alternating between boxing on the aqua bag and strength training on the floor. Each round is approximately 3 minutes with brief transitions.
What does a typical class look like?
You start with warm-up rounds on the bag and floor, build intensity through the middle of class with longer combinations and heavier strength work, and finish with high-energy power rounds. Your trainer coaches every combination and exercise from the front of the room. The lights are low, the music is loud, and the energy is electric. Check out our classes page for a full round-by-round breakdown.
Do I need boxing experience?
Not at all. The majority of our members had zero boxing experience before their first class. Our trainers use a numbered punch system (1 through 6) and call out every combination so you can follow along in real time. By your second or third class, the punches will feel natural.
What are the 6 punches used in class?
The six punches are: 1 = Jab (lead hand straight punch), 2 = Cross (rear hand straight punch), 3 = Lead Hook (lead hand sweeping punch), 4 = Rear Hook (rear hand sweeping punch), 5 = Lead Uppercut (lead hand upward punch), 6 = Rear Uppercut (rear hand upward punch). Your trainer will teach you all of these during class.
Can I modify exercises during class?
Yes. Our trainers are experienced in providing modifications for any exercise. Whether you have a previous injury, a physical limitation, or just need a lower-impact option, let your trainer know before class starts and they will provide alternatives so you can still get a great workout.

Location & Logistics
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely — leggings or shorts, a t-shirt or tank top. For shoes, cross-trainers or flat-soled athletic shoes work best. Avoid running shoes with thick, curved soles as you will be pivoting during combinations.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a water bottle and optionally a towel. We provide complimentary boxing wraps for first-timers and have all equipment (aqua bags, dumbbells, mats) ready in the studio. We have cubbies to store your phone, keys, and bag during class.
How early should I arrive?
For your first class, arrive 15 minutes early so we can check you in, get you set up with wraps, and show you around the studio. For subsequent visits, arriving 5 to 10 minutes early is enough.
Is there parking at the studio?
Free parking — next to Sleep Number in the Target parking lot. There is plenty of free parking directly in front of our studio. Even during peak class times, additional parking is available throughout the shopping center lot.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Thursday from 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Hours may vary on holidays — follow us on Instagram for real-time updates.

Fitness Level Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be in shape to start?
No. Rumble Boxing is for every fitness level. Our classes are designed so that beginners and experienced athletes can work out side by side, each at their own intensity. Modifications are always available, and you are encouraged to take breaks whenever you need them. Many of our most dedicated members started with zero fitness background.
How many calories does a class burn?
Most members burn between 500 and 800 calories per 45-minute class, depending on body weight, effort level, and fitness background. The combination of high-intensity boxing and strength training makes it one of the most efficient full-body workouts available.
Is Rumble Boxing good for weight loss?
Rumble Boxing is an excellent complement to a weight loss program. The high-intensity interval format (alternating boxing and strength rounds) is one of the most effective exercise styles for burning calories and boosting metabolism. Combined with a balanced diet, regular Rumble classes can absolutely support weight loss goals.
How often should I take classes?
We recommend 2 to 3 classes per week for most members. This gives you enough frequency to build skill and see results while allowing adequate recovery time between sessions. Some members train 4 to 5 times per week, while others come once a week. Find the rhythm that works for your body and schedule.
